Product Engineer

As the Product Engineer you work closely with the other Product Engineers, Electrotechnical and Mechanical Engineers and Electrical and Mechanical Draughtsmen. It is your goal to manufacture complete information packages and corresponding manuals for the production. Additionally you will be the first in line to support the national organization and the implementation of projects. The Product Engineer is part of the Project Engineering team. In this position you report to the Global Lead Project Engineering.

Responsibilities

• You are responsible for timely production release of electrical and mechanical drawing packages including bill of materials.
• You share the responsibility for engineering a project-specific UPS system within the limits of a set budget.
• Additionally, you responsible for the technical handling of UPS part of projects.
• You direct the operations of the E/M Draughtsmen as regards the customer-specific requirements.
• You take part in development projects as a member of the project team.
• Moreover, you contribute to the improvement of methods and processes.
• You record and manage the technical UPS specifications, changes to products and you coordinate the technical details with the Project Engineer and other members of the project team.
• You proactively discuss the options for optimization.
• Additionally, you discuss the progress and quality of the work with the Global Lead Project Engineering.

Job requirements:

• You have University or Applied Science (HBO) degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Moreover, you have a great affinity for mechanical engineering.
• You are familiar with PLC systems and MS Office.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Dutch.
• Last but not least, you are eligible to work in the Netherlands.
